Polamco have an immediate vacancy for a highly motivated, reliable CNC Programmer / Production Engineer with significant CAD/CAM/CNC programming experience and familiar with Fanuc, Haas and Matsuura controls on both Milling and Turning.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and based at our facility in Bath, you must be a proactive, self starter and team worker with a minimum of HNC in Mechanical or Production Engineering and significant working experience Machine Shop processes, machine tools and of Lean Manufacturing techniques.

The primary function of the role will be CNC Milling programming, with regards to writing, optimisation and standardisation of families of programs. You will also be involved in proving programs and specifying tooling for the machines and may be required to lead and implement process improvement and Lean activities.

Experience in a high quality, metal cutting production environment is desirable. Competitive salary offered dependant on skills and experience.
